It's up for debate on if I started singing first or dancing. With my mom and step dad having a cover band growing up, music has always been apart of my family.

My vocals have gone through a variety of phases from singing rock/blues at home with my family, musical theater in school, even getting classical in college performing in Ball State's Opera Theater's production of Die Fledermaus, to finally being paid to sing pop tunes.
I've always been drawn to creating. This lead me to the creation of Babes of Bluegrass: a solo show that then got produced into a trio of singers - more on that below
As for today, I've found that I'm most comfortable singing the genres that surrounded me at home: rock, folk, blues, a wee bit of country. I've had the pleasure of performing throughout the city in some iconic venues such as Birdland Jazz Club and 54 Below. I've found a love for these cabaret shows and love going to an open mic when I can fit it in my schedule.
Babes of Bluegrass is a show highlighting the women of folk, rock and Americana. Touching on the storytelling and unique perspective women have brought that has influenced the future generation.

This is the first iteration of this show, as a solo performance. Ultimately I wanted to turn it into a trio of singers with a full band which was done at Green Room 42 in NYC. Selections of this version can be seen below.
